Technical Architect - ServiceNow (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Create, iterate and maintain technical and data architectures for business applications and digital products.
• Take IT Product Management responsibility for ServiceNow-based applications and selected third-party SaaS products supporting Procurement, Real Estate Services and Human Resources.
• Translate business objectives and operational requirements into sustainable technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and implementation feasibility.
• Manage product lifecycles by balancing stakeholder expectations, business priorities, technical debt, platform sustainability and regulatory requirements.
• Prioritize demand with business owners, product owners and senior stakeholders while aligning technology investments with organizational goals and budgets.
• Guide ServiceNow service evolution, innovation, automation and operational excellence, representing architecture and product perspectives in governance and decision forums.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, global and regulated business environment, including several years of hands-on software development, solution architecture and technology consulting across the software development and product lifecycle.
• 5+ years of proven ServiceNow architecture, administration and development experience; WSD, HRSD and App Engine experience is preferred within the stated ServiceNow background.
• Solid knowledge of cloud-based and service-oriented architectures using Microsoft Azure technologies, including ADLS, ADF, Databricks and related platform services such as APIs.
• Experience with DevOps principles and best practices, preferably Azure DevOps, Git, source control, branching strategies, code reviews and CI/CD.
• Experience in IT Product Management, Demand Management or Business Relationship Management, including roadmap planning, prioritization, lifecycle management and balancing business value with technical sustainability.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, architectural standards, methodology and solution design skills, including architecture reviews, process analysis and process redesign.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; German is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• ITIL certification or willingness to pursue it with company support.
• German language skills for collaboration with local business stakeholders in hirify.global’s German business functions.
