What you will do

• Set the global content design vision and strategy across Walmart brands, markets, and digital experiences.
• Lead content design for conversational, agentic, generative, multimodal, and AI-powered interfaces.
• Partner with Design, Product, and Engineering to shape text, voice, visual, and dynamically generated experiences.
• Establish voice and tone standards, content systems, governance, and scalable quality criteria covering clarity, usefulness, factual grounding, accessibility, and trust.
• Advance AI-enabled research, prototyping, production, and evaluation while maintaining human judgment and craft.
• Build and lead a high-performing content design organization and develop talent across the enterprise.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading content design or content strategy across multiple brands, markets, and digital experiences.
• Deep expertise in plain language, information architecture, interaction design, voice and tone, accessibility, and content systems.
• Experience building scalable content standards, reusable patterns, and governance supporting global and local needs.
• Experience shaping conversational, AI-enabled, or adaptive experiences, with knowledge of how AI is changing content design and product experiences.
• Working knowledge of instructions, context, trusted content sources, and model behavior in generated experiences, with the ability to partner with technical teams.
• Experience using research, testing, and evaluation to improve content quality, accessibility, trust, and user outcomes.
• Strong people leadership and ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
• Either a bachelor's degree in media and content creation, design, communications, or a related area plus 7 years of experience in content creation, knowledge management, UX content design, or a related area; or 9 years of relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of supervisory experience.

• Content creation, knowledge management, UX content design, or related experience and a content creation or design certification.
• Experience driving product development in a content design area.
• Master's degree in media and content creation, design, communications, or a related area.
• Related industry experience in retail, supply chain, ecommerce, healthcare, or similar fields.
• Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
