Senior Technical Program Manager, Marketing Programs (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States. Hybrid work model with required in-office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; remote placement is not considered. Local Pacific Time hours are required, with flexibility across time zones when necessary. Travel to hirify.global offices or other locations may be required.

Target base salary: $156,000–$183,000 annually, plus potential equity and annual bonus.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of strategic Marketing and Technology initiatives aligned with the Product Development Life Cycle.
• Lead complex cross-functional programs from ideation and strategy through planning, execution, and launch.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Marketing, Business, Risk, and external vendors to define requirements, priorities, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Build project plans covering milestones, resources, critical paths, risks, and delivery timelines.
• Establish dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics; identify risks, resolve obstacles, and maintain accountability.
• Present program updates, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership while guiding teams through change and delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical program management experience within a technology organization, including complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing large-scale technical programs and projects from planning through implementation, including dependencies, risks, resources, and milestones.
• Strong understanding of project and program management methodologies, process improvement, and change management.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence and align partners across Technology, Product, Marketing, Business, and Risk while managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to independently drive execution, anticipate challenges, resolve complex issues, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for program planning, risk identification, reporting, and problem-solving, with sound judgment regarding accuracy, data sensitivity, and human oversight.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile and Scaled Agile delivery methodologies.
• Educational or professional background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
