Product Manager - Access Control (Healthcare)

Location: Canada; remote-first team

Annual salary: $94,000–$141,000; most new hires join at the accomplished stage at $111,700.

What you will do

• Own access-control execution for the squad, including backlog refinement, prioritization, and shipping.
• Lead discovery with clinics and internal teams, define permission and role requirements, and write briefs.
• Help product teams adopt a shared access model through influence, alignment, and collaborative prioritization.
• Improve default clinic roles and develop access control to support evolving clinic needs.
• Communicate changes clearly so clinics understand what is changing, why, and how it helps them.
• Share status, risks, and progress while using AI responsibly for discovery, writing, and rapid prototyping.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience, or experience in a closely related role with a move into product; platform, identity, permissions, or other multi-team systems experience is preferred.
• System-level thinking and the ability to maintain one consistent model across multiple product areas and teams.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and bring stakeholders to shared decisions.
• Empathy for clinics, practitioners, and patients, especially in sensitive contexts involving privacy and compliance.
• Strong change communication and clear, concise writing for clinic and internal audiences.
• Hands-on curiosity with AI tools for drafting, curating briefs, and building quick prototypes.
• Strong execution focus and enthusiasm for close collaboration with a partner Product Manager and cross-functional peers.
