Senior Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within the U.S. Other location: New York, New York, United States.

Base salary: $140,000–$165,000, depending on experience and role alignment; performance bonus and equity participation are also offered.

hirify.global is a startup studio focused on artificial intelligence and healthcare transformation. Caregentic, its portfolio company, builds AI infrastructure for continuous care operations that connects patient data, clinical protocols, care coordination, and EHR workflows.

What you will do

• Own the rolling product roadmap, backlog, delivery priorities, tradeoffs, and scope decisions within agreed objectives and engineering capacity.
• Write and maintain detailed PRDs in GitHub, linked to Jira epics, covering frontend and backend behavior, user flows, acceptance criteria, and changes during development.
• Use Claude and similar AI tools for requirements drafting, analysis, user-flow exploration, prototyping, and specification work, while personally reviewing every epic before engineering implementation.
• Partner with engineering on refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, product questions, product acceptance, bug resolution, and release readiness.
• Gather customer and user feedback, translate requests into reusable condition-agnostic capabilities and care journey templates, and prioritize based on customer value, business goals, risk, and effort.
• Define workflows, success measures, demos, documentation, traceability, and security and compliance checkpoints, including SOC 2, TCPA, and future FDA work.

Requirements

• 5+ years in software product management or equivalent experience independently owning roadmap priorities and delivery.
• Strong hands-on requirements writing, including product specifications, acceptance criteria, and practical Jira or comparable tool experience.
• Proven experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or specialized product extensions across ideation, scoping, prototyping, and specification writing.
• Experience working closely with engineers to resolve ambiguity, make scope decisions, validate functionality, and follow work through completion.
• Technical fluency in frontend and backend behavior, integrations, data flows, and feasibility; architecture and implementation decisions remain with engineering.
• Experience gathering customer feedback and prioritizing with incomplete information, including explaining decisions to executives and engineers.
• Healthcare workflow experience and the ability to translate clinical, privacy, security, and compliance needs into product requirements with appropriate experts.
• Experience in an early-stage startup or similarly resource-constrained software team, with direct responsibility for roadmap priorities and hands-on product delivery.
• Practical UX judgment, strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to organize work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, earn trust quickly, prototype and test ideas, and demonstrate commitment to improving patient care.

Nice to have

• B2B software experience for hospitals or health systems, including EHR integrations such as Epic.
• Experience with patient engagement, care management, workflow automation, or AI-enabled products.
• Advanced LLM skills, including custom Claude projects or prompt engineering for product specifications.
• Experience with GitHub repositories and product-management repository artifacts.
• Basic database querying for product analytics.
• Lightweight prototyping in Figma or AI tools and collaboration with product designers.
• Experience with HL7 and FHIR healthcare integration standards.
• Experience taking a product from Series A to the growth stage.
