Senior Automation Engineer (SDET) (C#/.NET)

What you will do

• Test new software products and services while taking ownership of software quality.
• Write and maintain automated Component Integration, API, and frontend E2E tests across the Testing Pyramid.
• Build and maintain a regression test library using BDD approaches in collaboration with developers and business analysts.
• Help define automation strategies, frameworks, test plans, metrics, and processes.
• Coordinate test schedules, resources, dependencies, risks, and delivery progress.
• Mentor and upskill QA team members in automated testing within an agile development environment.

Requirements

• Software development background or coding experience.
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks and technology.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, Specrunner, and SpecFlow.
• Strong understanding of SQL, relational database structure, and database design.
• Experience testing solutions to maintain high data quality.
• Understanding of testing metrics and reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, SCRUM, Agile, and BDD.
• Experience coaching or mentoring Automation QAs.
• Pragmatic problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, excellent communication, and the ability to identify tasks, dependencies, and risks during backlog grooming and planning.
