Senior Director, Corporate FP&A (SaaS)

Location: San Francisco, US (Hybrid); additional location: New York City, NY, United States.

Salary: USD 273,000–409,000 total target cash compensation, including base and variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, rolling forecasts, and business review cadences.
• Own and improve the corporate financial model covering revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, headcount, cash flow, scenarios, and long-range projections.
• Prepare executive, Board, investor, and lender reporting that explains results, drivers, outlook, risks, and strategic tradeoffs.
• Define and govern financial and operating metrics while partnering with GTM, Product, Engineering, G&A, and People on resource allocation, hiring plans, and investment decisions.
• Build scalable FP&A processes, systems, dashboards, automation, BI, AI, and self-service reporting capabilities.
• Hire, manage, and develop the FP&A team and contribute to procurement strategy and vendor cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in executive leadership within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• Ability to translate business strategy into financial plans, improve forecasting rigor, and influence executive decisions.
• Experience building and improving corporate planning processes, financial models, and reporting frameworks in complex environments.
• Deep knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, driver-based modeling, and scenario modeling.
• Ability to manage large datasets from multiple sources, understand complex data relationships, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Direct people-management experience, including hiring and developing a strong finance function.
• Clear, direct communication skills and the ability to turn complex financial analysis into actionable recommendations for a CFO.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets and financial modeling skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with planning tools such as Pigment, Anaplan, or Adaptive.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
