Strategic FP&A Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, United States

Salary: $120,000–$200,000 annual cash compensation, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with departments on analytical frameworks for resource allocation, including paid marketing return-on-ad-spend benchmarks and creator partnership hiring plans across markets.
• Support the annual budget cycle and rolling quarterly re-forecasts by building driver-based operating budgets and headcount plans with department heads.
• Establish monthly budget-versus-actuals cadences, analyze variance drivers, maintain spending discipline, and identify risk-mitigation options.
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve the multi-year corporate financial model by translating strategic goals into detailed financial roadmaps.
• Help architect an AI-native FP&A organization using automation and modern data workflows for financial modeling, variance reporting, and scenario planning.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of total experience, typically including experience at an investment bank, investment firm, or consulting firm followed by strategic finance or FP&A roles at fast-paced technology-enabled companies.
• Strong conceptual understanding of data extraction, analysis, and visualization.
• Foundational SQL and Python or R skills.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Looker or Power BI.
• Rigorous training in spreadsheet analysis and financial modeling.
• Willingness to adopt AI tools to automate repetitive work and focus on strategic problem-solving.
• High ownership, self-confidence, low ego, and a desire to improve existing practices.
• Strong identification with hirify.global’s mission and the ability to contribute to strategic decisions in a rapidly changing industry.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern FP&A tools such as Adaptive, Aleph, Fintastic, Causal, or Cube.
