Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) - Cloud Solutions

What you will do

• Own the planning, management, and delivery of complex cross-functional IT projects.
• Provide structure and direction in changing environments with evolving requirements and priorities.
• Align product management, software development, operations, quality assurance, sales, and customer service teams around shared objectives.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships, address objections, and develop workable solutions.
• Prepare decision-ready documents and status reports, while maintaining accurate documentation of decisions, risks, and progress.
• Improve project management methods and standards and ensure structured handover of results to operations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional project management experience, ideally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Practical experience leading complex, cross-functional projects, ideally in IT or software development.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools, preferably Jira and Confluence.
• Degree or completed training in business administration, economics, engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on approach, personal ownership of day-to-day delivery, and consistent results focus.
• Ability to create clarity under ambiguity, make sound decisions, align cross-functional teams, and lead without formal authority.
• Solution-oriented approach with the ability to propose options rather than escalate problems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for technical and executive audiences; business-proficient German at B2 level is mandatory.
• Composure when stakeholders challenge priorities or decisions, with the ability to turn objections into workable agreements.
• Familiarity with using AI tools to improve project efficiency and documentation quality.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PRINCE2 or comparable project management frameworks, or a relevant certification.
• Experience in an information technology or software development environment.
