What you will do

• Lead the successful delivery of contemporary data and AI solutions across multiple customers.
• Provide thought leadership and work with senior stakeholders to define principles, strategic direction, and functional and non-functional designs.
• Assure solutions delivered by multi-skilled agile teams by assessing outcomes, technical implications, complexity, and design decisions.
• Lead the development of technical policies and standards, customer relationships, account strategies, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Manage and mentor architects and engineers, supporting their career development and team performance.
• Advise customers and colleagues on emerging technologies and approaches.

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of current and emerging data and AI technologies, including IoT, edge processing, event-driven data architectures, serverless processing, file, object, document, key-value, search, relational, and graph databases, cognitive services, and machine learning.
• Proven experience being accountable for designing, building, and productionising modern data- or AI-intensive applications, including distributed and scalable systems.
• Experience with public cloud data platforms, including at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP, and IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS offerings.
• Experience with data integration techniques such as messaging, queuing, change data capture, or data virtualisation.
• Ability to prioritise customer concerns, incorporate non-functional requirements into application design, and manage priorities across multiple major projects and deadlines.
• Experience proactively developing business and understanding the commercial implications of technical decisions.
• Ability to motivate and empower teams while fostering an inclusive, creative, learning-focused, and wellbeing-oriented culture.
• Ability to communicate clearly and influence C-level stakeholders.
