Senior Architect, Agentic Development (AI)

What you will do

• Set the direction for agentic development across design, implementation, testing, review, debugging, and operations.
• Build agent-driven engineering workflows from specification to production code, including agent context, tooling, and pipelines.
• Define guardrails, evaluations, quality gates, and security controls for agent-generated work, and measure effects on quality, velocity, and reliability.
• Architect elastic compute across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, integrating elastic and always-on compute under shared governance, security, and workload management.
• Design for workload isolation, resource efficiency, continuous availability, predictable performance, and resilience during scaling and failures.
• Lead architecture reviews, coach engineers, and partner with engineering, product, and operations to deliver features and improve observability and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including significant work with large-scale distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on production experience with AI coding agents and multi-step agentic workflows beyond occasional assistant use.
• Experience designing agentic engineering practices covering context and instructions, tool integration, evaluation, review, and safety controls.
• Hands-on experience with elastic or autoscaling compute on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of databases or data warehouses, query processing, workload management, and storage-compute separation.
• Experience designing for high availability, predictable performance, security, and multi-tenancy.
• Strong programming skills and the ability to influence technical direction, coach engineers, and balance near-term delivery with long-term platform direction.

Nice to have

• Production experience with agent-based or LLM-powered features.
• Experience creating agent evaluation harnesses, benchmarks, or quality metrics.
• Experience with MPP or analytic database internals.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with cost-aware scaling, capacity planning, and FinOps.
• Experience in regulated or mission-critical enterprise environments.
