What you will do

• Lead and undertake data solution architecture and design work across the change lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and consultancy to internal teams.
• Create data solution architecture designs, design principles, and architecture patterns.
• Select technologies and contribute to technical enablers and proof of concepts, including emerging AI capabilities.
• Shape how AI is embedded into the data platform and architecture patterns.
• Work with stakeholders and development teams to synthesise requirements and technology into solution architectures and champion the resulting architecture.

Requirements

• Experience, knowledge, and skills in data solution architecture and design.
• Cloud experience, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of cloud data warehouses, particularly Snowflake.
• Understanding of AI and ML platforms and tooling, especially Snowflake Cortex.
• Experience or interest in AI-assisted architecture and design tools, including Cortex and GitHub Copilot.
• Knowledge of data orchestration and transformation tools, including Azure Data Factory and dbt.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling, including Azure DevOps and Snowflake DCM.
• Knowledge of data catalogues, including Horizon.
• Broad understanding of data architecture, data modelling, business intelligence, data quality, data management, and DataOps.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders and development teams.
