EN/ESLA HR Bilingual Translator (Spanish)

Location: Onsite at the Hurricane, Utah distribution center; work includes an active warehouse floor and an administrative HR office.

Salary: $22.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Provide live English/Spanish interpretation during daily operations, safety briefings, equipment walk-throughs, onboarding, and training.
• Interpret sensitive employee-relations discussions, including performance evaluations, disciplinary meetings, leave-of-absence processes, and HR investigations.
• Translate and maintain employee handbooks, policies, announcements, safety warnings, equipment certification materials, and facility signage into localized Spanish.
• Support Spanish-speaking employees with payroll, timecards, time-off requests, and routine workplace questions.
• Maintain bilingual paperwork and HRIS records, perform data entry, and create quizzes related to safety signs for Spanish-speaking employees.

Requirements

• Absolute written and spoken proficiency in English and Spanish, including HR and industrial or warehouse terminology.
• 1–2+ years of translation or HR support experience in an industrial, manufacturing, retail, distribution center, or office setting.
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficiency with computer systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience maintaining electronic filing systems and ensuring accurate data distribution.
• Comfort working on an active warehouse floor around moving industrial equipment while wearing required PPE.
• Strong cultural empathy and the ability to handle confidential HR matters professionally.
