Workday HCM Delivery Lead

Location: Madrid, Castellana 85, Spain, or Lisbon, Arquiparque 5, Portugal. Flexible working hours and an opportunity to work from home are available; client travel may be required.

What you will do

• Manage Workday HCM and/or FIN implementations end-to-end, from rapid deployments to complete transformations.
• Manage senior client stakeholders, engagement financials, delivery quality, and Phase 1 and/or Phase X engagements.
• Use delivery processes, tools, and proven assets to ensure engagements are delivered on time and within budget.
• Lead and coach consultants and manage diverse onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams.
• Participate in pre-sales and sales cycles for new and existing Workday clients.
• Shape Workday solutions using native AI and machine-learning capabilities, GenAI-enabled accelerators, and AI-powered delivery assets.

Requirements

• End-to-end responsibility for managing Workday Phase 1 and/or Phase X implementations.
• Experience in Workday program and project management across at least 2 delivered engagements.
• Experience with stakeholder, resource, financial, PMO, and quality management.
• Ability to meet client travel requirements and efficiently manage teams and client interactions.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, ability to meet deadlines, and effectiveness in a diverse and dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex messages and requirements clearly.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and Spanish at minimum B1 level.

Nice to have

• Experience in HR system and/or ERP implementation.
• Experience leading diverse onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams.
• Experience with large, complex system transformations.
• Workday PM/EM certification and/or certification in project management or agile methodologies.
• Fluency in another Spanish or Portuguese language.
