Senior Software Engineer (Quality Engineering)

What you will do

• Design, build, evaluate, and adopt engineering tools using Agentic AI for automated performance-test triage, test-code generation, and developer toil reduction.
• Develop reliability metrics for test coverage, execution speed, and defect prevention, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Build telemetry and testing infrastructure, including deterministic fault injection for concurrency and race-condition detection.
• Partner with engineering teams on risk analysis, integration and performance testing strategies, and complex edge-case defects.
• Develop robust backend services, APIs, and microservices aligned with architecture standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in test automation, backend design, testing strategies, and code hygiene.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on backend software development experience with modern languages such as Go or Python and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable backend platforms, including CI/CD integration, containerisation, and orchestration with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, REST/gRPC API protocols, and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or BigQuery.
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted tools and agentic workflows for code generation, log analysis, and automated triage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for advocating quality initiatives and influencing cross-functional technical teams.
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership across architecture, coding, automated testing, performance optimisation, and operational monitoring.
