Controls Project Manager II (M/F/D)

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. Willingness to travel 30–50% and/or relocate is required.

Salary: $95,000–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage medium- to large-scale projects through the full project life cycle, including milestones, deadlines, scope, budgets, and resources.
• Develop RFQs/RFPs for electrical installation contractors and controls engineering services.
• Work with Program Managers, Controls Engineers, and cross-functional teams to execute engineering activities.
• Coordinate cross-departmental schedules and testing plans with Functional Project Managers.
• Manage contracts, subcontract agreements, contractual risks, and project team staffing.
• Acquire OSHA 30 Certification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience, with 2–4 years of proven project management experience.
• Knowledge of electronic, electrical, and automation engineering.
• Experience with complete design-to-production project life cycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and customer audiences.
• Advanced organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Direct client experience in business development and project management, including negotiation and analytical work.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% and/or relocate.
