Operations Manager, T&D

Location: Onsite in Harrisburg, King of Prussia, or Connellsville, Pennsylvania, United States; essential functions are performed in a company-designated office or field location.

What you will do

• Lead and manage regional operations, facilities, assigned staff, and accountability.
• Develop budgets and monitor project financial performance, production, progress, and milestones.
• Ensure contractual compliance and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Plan and coordinate estimates, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Build relationships with clients, owners, contractors, design professionals, supervisors, tradespersons, and craft workers; resolve construction, design, and work-procedure issues.
• Recruit, train, mentor, coach, and evaluate personnel; enforce company policies, safety expectations, and ethical standards while reporting results and escalating issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in project management and/or estimating in the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 20 T&D certifications.
• Strong safety commitment, leadership, team-building, organizational, analytical, salesmanship, relationship-building, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, and specifications, with the ability to apply trade concepts to real-world solutions.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Nice to have

• 10 years of experience as a journeyman.
• Project Management certification such as FMI, PMP, or similar.
