R&D Engineer, IC Design

Location: USA-CA Irvine Alton Parkway Bldg 2, United States

Annual base salary: USD 74,000–118,800.

hirify.global is hiring an R&D Engineer for integrated circuit design and verification work.

What you will do

• Write and maintain assertions and design-verification tests for chip-level and block-level models.
• Gather design data from circuit designers and create netlists.
• Use AI to create models, including real-number models.
• Write tests to verify model behavior.
• Develop code to automate engineering tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog and Linux.
• Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso.
• Proficiency with Python, Git, JIRA, Windows, and Google Office suites.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-number modeling.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong experience collaborating with different teams.
