Summer Student - Operational Risk Management

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States; hybrid schedule with onsite presence in the Atlanta office on average up to 2 days per week

Salary: $23.00 per hour USD

What you will do

• Support incident management data entry, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Compile incident and Key Risk Indicator reports, charts, and dashboards.
• Help prepare Operational Risk Management reports, presentations, procedures, templates, and related materials.
• Analyze completed risk reviews and longstanding issues to identify items due for review, using Atlas.
• Assist with reconciliations between WebFOCUS and Archer and update business-unit hierarchy information.
• Research operational risk trends and support automation and transition of risk and incident dashboards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to manage assigned responsibilities.
• Interest in operational risk management, investment management, financial services, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Foundational knowledge of databases, programming languages, or data-analysis tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for organizing information and preparing reports or presentations.
• Interest in data analysis, dashboard automation, process improvement, or risk reporting.
• Ability to learn risk management and reporting systems.
