Summer Internship Program - Growth Operations (AI)

What you will do

• Scope, design, and build one or more technology projects for business development and capture operations, including applications, automated workflows, reporting tools, analytics capabilities, or data integrations.
• Use vibe coding with AI coding assistants such as Claude or Cursor, validate data, troubleshoot build challenges, and stress-test solutions.
• Work with Salesforce growth opportunity records, spreadsheet backups, and federal market data sources such as SAM.gov, USASpending, agency forecasts, GovWin, and G2X.
• Support pipeline reporting, pursuit prioritization, market and competitor research, and automation of manual growth workflows.
• Document project status, data sources, SOPs, and handoff materials, then present a live demo and production-oriented recommendation to leadership.
• Collaborate with mentors, BD professionals, technical staff, senior leaders, and other Tria staff, including facilitating usability testing.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in business, public policy, information systems, data analytics, or a related field.
• No prior coding or development experience is required; curiosity about AI tools and willingness to learn by building are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to describe problems clearly and precisely in writing.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage a multi-week project through completion.
• Interest in federal government contracting and business development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Salesforce or another CRM, SAM.gov, or USASpending.
