Senior Business Analyst - Treasury & Capital Markets

What you will do

• Lead business analysis across treasury and capital markets workstreams within a large-scale treasury transformation programme.
• Facilitate requirements workshops with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Analyse and document requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications.
• Support development and testing teams by clarifying and validating requirements.
• Analyse front-office, back-office, system interface, and end-to-end trade lifecycle processes.
• Perform data analysis and modelling, define integration and interface requirements, and collaborate across project teams.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of Business Analysis experience within financial services.
• Strong understanding of capital markets products and business processes, with experience in treasury, banking, investment banking, asset management, fund management, or related financial environments.
• Strong knowledge of treasury products, particularly loans and deposits, and a solid understanding of the trade lifecycle.
• Front-to-back office experience covering deal capture and trade booking, confirmations, settlements and SWIFT messaging, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Business-side experience with Treasury Management Systems and finance platforms.
• Familiarity with accounting systems, general ledgers, financial reporting platforms, and management information dashboards.
• Experience conducting requirements workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, functional specification, data analysis, data modelling, and interface requirements gathering skills.
• Degree or Master's Degree in Finance, Business, Computing, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience creating business process maps, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and storyboards.
• Experience supporting treasury transformation, regulatory, or financial systems change programmes.
