Head of Adviser Development & Productivity

What you will do

• Lead and manage the Adviser Development Manager team across the National and Network businesses.
• Provide consistent coaching, mentoring, observed client-meeting feedback, development plans, and targeted performance support.
• Drive adviser productivity, progression to Competent Adviser Status (CAS), commercial performance, retention, and positive customer outcomes.
• Coordinate with Academy, Distribution, Training, Compliance, Technology, and business leaders to align adviser development with operational and regulatory standards.
• Use MI and KPIs to monitor time to competence, productivity, retention, team performance, and improvement actions.
• Identify and remove operational, process, technology, and capability blockers, including through technology, data, and AI-enabled coaching tools.

Requirements

• Experienced people leader who sets clear direction, builds team capability, and creates a strong performance culture.
• Commercial track record of improving adviser productivity and translating coaching and development into measurable performance outcomes.
• Strong experience in adviser development, coaching, performance management, appointment support, CAS progression, and ongoing productivity improvement.
• Ability to translate agreed learning and business standards into practical coaching, development plans, and performance interventions; formal training design and delivery are outside the role’s remit.
• Data-led and comfortable using MI and KPIs to monitor adviser progression, productivity, retention, and team performance.
• Digitally confident, with the ability to promote technology, data, and AI-enabled tools that improve coaching consistency, efficiency, and productivity.
• Collaborative and credible when working with business leaders and partner teams.
• Highly organised and accountable, with the ability to manage team capacity, regional priorities, day-to-day delivery, and agreed business change.
• Coaching, training, assessment, and CPD must align with the hirify.global advice process, regulatory requirements, internal policies, Consumer Duty, and good customer outcomes. Advisers must remain accountable for advice quality, professional judgement, and customer outcomes, including understanding tool, data, and AI limitations.
