Senior Accounting Manager (AI Automation)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $116,000–$187,660 annually by US geographic pay zone, plus a 15% bonus target. RSUs and health, vision, dental, and mental health benefits are additional.

hirify.global builds a software delivery platform that helps engineering teams control feature releases, improve release stability, target customer experiences, and manage software and AI behavior after deployment.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a global accounting team with clear responsibilities, objectives, decision rights, and development plans.
• Manage and accelerate close activities across general accounting, treasury, accounts payable, employee reimbursements, and corporate cards.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, and technical accounting analyses for stock-based compensation, leases, and foreign currency.
• Lead implementation of a procure-to-pay tool and PO-to-Pay workflow from requirements through rollout and adoption.
• Partner with International Accounting, Technology, Procurement, IT, and business stakeholders on intercompany reporting, ERP enhancements, integrations, and reporting improvements.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls while improving workflows through systems optimization, automation, and AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least eight years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or experience at a high-growth technology company.
• CPA required. Big 4 experience is preferred.
• At least three years of experience leading a team of accountants.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP, including workflow and report improvements.
• Demonstrated use of automation and AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
• Experience working in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate accountability and initiative, collaborate across Finance and the business, and explain complex accounting to leaders, auditors, and non-Finance colleagues.
