Lead Product Manager (APIs and MCP)

Location: Vancouver, BC, with an office-centric hybrid schedule; standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most employees may work from home on Wednesdays; Friday work-from-home depends on the role and team.

Base salary: CAD 211,000–240,000 per year, plus possible equity, sales incentive pay for applicable roles, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the product vision and prioritized roadmap for Asana’s APIs and MCP server.
• Enable external developers and AI agents to discover APIs and MCP tools and complete valuable workflows.
• Expand access to Work Graph capabilities and reduce friction in documentation, authorization, and daily use.
• Partner with engineering to improve platform reliability, performance, and compatibility.
• Use customer feedback, evaluations, adoption, workflow completion, reliability, and time-to-value metrics to prioritize improvements.
• Define trustworthy agent access with security and enterprise teams, including permissions, administrative controls, and accountability.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of product management experience with a record of launching and growing products in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or developer platforms.
• Experience shaping technical platform or developer-facing products, including APIs and MCP servers, and connecting API and infrastructure decisions to customer and business outcomes.
• Technical fluency in APIs, authentication, permissions, dependencies, failure modes, API contracts, versioning, backward compatibility, SDKs, and developer documentation.
• Strong product judgment, including prioritizing ambiguous problems into focused, sequenced roadmaps.
• Customer-centered and analytical approach to feedback, success measures, prioritization, and iteration.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end product delivery and align multiple technical and nontechnical teams across dependencies.
• Experience mentoring and developing other product managers.
