Internship: System Validation (Semiconductors)

Location: Gratkorn, Austria

Minimum salary: EUR 2,800 gross/month for a full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.

What you will do

• Support systems engineering by helping define, analyze, document, and validate system-level requirements and behaviors.
• Assist with technical coordination, reviews, testing support, and follow-up on action items across teams.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation stakeholders to support project execution.
• Prepare reports, specifications, and project records for visibility and traceability.
• Contribute to structured problem solving, technical communication, and system quality.

Requirements

• Current Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or laboratory tools, with willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Conscious and reliable working style required because the assignment may include security-related tasks and security certifications.

• Hands-on experience from laboratory work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions.
