Enterprise Security Architect (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands; candidates must already hold a valid visa allowing them to work in the Netherlands.

Gross monthly salary: €7,556–€10,794 for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Develop and communicate strategic enterprise security and IT/OT visions.
• Define security architecture guidance covering AI, quantum cryptography, DLP, cloud protection, networks, and IoT.
• Establish, maintain, and enforce architecture standards, principles, and models.
• Analyse business and IT environments, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Provide architectural guidance to CISO, IAM, Security Operations Centre, senior management, programmes, and security departments.
• Collaborate with architecture colleagues, domain and business architects, and stakeholders in a global context.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in an architecture or security role.
• 8+ years of experience with IT delivery processes and frameworks, including DevOps, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 2700x, and cloud.
• University degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a relevant equivalent certification.
• In-depth knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and current security technologies, processes, and products.
• In-depth knowledge of IAM, industry standards, prevention, detection and response mechanisms, analytics interfacing, DLP, cloud security, application security, containers, endpoint protection, and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of cyber and network security, identity management, post-quantum cryptography, cloud technology, European regulation including DORA, NIS2, CRA, CSA, the AI Act and GDPR, and geopolitical developments.
• Knowledge of data management, security architecture frameworks including TOGAF, ISO 7000x, NIST and COBIT, and modelling systems such as ARIS and ArchiMate.
• Certification in CISSP, TOGAF, SABSA, or an equivalent certification.
• Customer focus, influencing, and coaching skills.

Nice to have

• Experience advising senior management and programmes on security solutions in an international or global context.
• Experience motivating IT and business stakeholders to adopt security technologies and processes.
