Cloud Architect (Data Technologies)

Location: Hybrid work in Amstelveen, Capelle aan den IJssel, or Eindhoven, Netherlands.

What you will do

• Define and design end-to-end solution architectures based on business, information, application, and technical requirements.
• Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical designs and maintain architecture documentation.
• Guide development teams in implementation and architectural best practices.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, domain architects, and technical teams across projects and platforms.
• Ensure quality, security, scalability, performance, availability, and maintainability.
• Identify architectural risks, advise on complex technical challenges, and translate technology developments into improvements.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent English and Dutch.
• Experience with Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with Terraform and Bicep for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Docker and strong understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of modern architecture patterns.
• Ability to design across backend and frontend system landscapes at architectural level.

Nice to have

• AWS or Google Cloud Platform experience.
• Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with IoT platforms, AI-driven solutions, or data-intensive architectures.
