Site Reliability Engineer II (Network Automation)

What you will do

• Design and build systems for automated operational workflows and insights into global network data.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks caused by process inefficiencies, manual toil, and technical debt.
• Generate telemetry and observability for network infrastructure.
• Architect robust, maintainable code using CI/CD, test-driven development, and iterative design.
• Support and deploy cloud-native third-party software using infrastructure as code.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, and Ops to improve backbone monitoring and operation.

Requirements

• Contribute to the design and implementation of full-stack systems using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Develop software solutions that address operational inefficiencies and process bottlenecks.
• Maintain and enhance network telemetry and automation stacks, including source-of-truth systems, metric agents, time-series databases, dashboards, and alerting.
• Apply software development lifecycle best practices consistently.
• Build a strong understanding of global, complex, interconnected systems and contribute proactively to their reliability.
