Principal Site Reliability Engineer (Network Automation)

What you will do

• Lead the architectural design and development of software supporting a global connectivity platform.
• Ensure the operation and uptime of Compute services and critical infrastructure.
• Establish telemetry and observability stacks for real-time monitoring of security services and DDoS mitigation.
• Develop tooling with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve system reliability.
• Champion software engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and SDLC standards across architecture and engineering teams.
• Drive software-defined automation to reduce operational toil and improve network infrastructure reliability.

Requirements

• 15 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Expert experience in network engineering and software engineering.
• Expert proficiency in Python, Grafana, Prometheus, and data science.
• Proven expertise building observability systems, ideally for traffic engineering, sFlow, or other networking technologies.
• Experience designing cloud-native infrastructure, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code deployment frameworks.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving requirements and lead with agility.
