Senior Commercial Project Manager (Digital Transformation)

Location: Hybrid role based in Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona), Spain, with Munich, Germany also listed as a location; three days of remote work are available.

What you will do

• Support the Project Director in achieving profitability targets and drive actions affecting revenue, margin, and cash flow.
• Partner with Finance and Controlling to analyze variances, recommend corrective actions, and improve project profitability.
• Lead the commercial execution of customer contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and claims with Contract Management, Procurement, and Partner Management.
• Manage commercial risks and opportunities, contractual obligations, invoicing, and payment follow-up.
• Prepare commercial reviews, scenarios, and management reports for senior stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations, serve as the key interface for customers and internal stakeholders, and improve project controls and commercial standards.

Requirements

• Typically 7+ years of experience in commercial project management, project finance, contract management, or a related role.
• Strong experience with complex software, SaaS, cloud, or digital transformation projects.
• Hands-on experience interpreting forecasts, planning project finances, managing contracts and claims, and managing commercial risks.
• Understanding of software delivery models and commercial topics including subscriptions, licences, service levels, and third-party services.
• Confident communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and customer executives in an international environment.

Nice to have

• ERP and project accounting experience.
• Commercial, contract, or project management certification.
