Senior Pricing Analyst

Location: Crewe, Cheshire, United Kingdom; office based. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30–17:00, 37.5 hours per week.

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus, benefits and incentives.

What you will do

• Lead projects that improve fuel-pricing operations across the Pricing and Performance team.
• Work with country business partners to deliver pricing changes affecting P&L across fuel products and regions.
• Compare volume and margin performance against targets across products, regions and channels, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Own analysis from requirements gathering and exploratory work through accuracy checks, stakeholder review and final impact assessment.
• Build forecasting models that predict week-on-week volume and margin movements.
• Create Excel and Tableau reports that communicate evidence-led findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree-level education with a minimum 2:2 (Lower Second Class Honours).
• Ability to build and interpret forecasting models for volume and margin movements.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Ability to build reports and dashboards in Tableau.
• Ability to investigate data across multiple dimensions and identify performance gaps.
• Ability to explain analytical findings clearly to non-analytical stakeholders, including sales teams and country directors.
• Ability to perform accuracy and audit checks independently before sharing work and findings.

Nice to have

• Experience using Python and SQL to extract or manipulate data for analysis.
• Experience managing a team or coordinating others’ work.
• Experience managing stakeholders across two or more functions, such as finance and sales, to deliver a shared outcome.
• Experience in pricing, revenue management or commercial finance.
