Operational Purchaser (f/m/d)

Location: Goettingen, Germany; regular full-time work at the Göttingen site.

hirify.global develops and manufactures photonics solutions, opto-mechanical modules, subsystems, components, and optical systems for semiconductor equipment, scientific research, and industrial production.

What you will do

• Process operational inquiries and purchase orders.
• Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on overdue deliveries.
• Maintain and update master data and system records.
• Handle supplier complaints and review invoices.
• Contribute to process digitalization and optimization.
• Support projects and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or an equivalent qualification, plus several years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing company.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken, with strong negotiation skills in both languages.
• Experience with the SAP MM module.
• Good knowledge of standard MS Office applications.
• Strong initiative, assertiveness, and negotiation skills.
• Professional and confident communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Technical understanding of mechanics, electronics, or optics.
• Affinity for digital technologies, tools, and modern system environments such as Power BI and AI applications.
