What you will do

• Lead and develop the Receiving and Shipping team, including workforce planning and daily operations.
• Ensure accurate, efficient, and on-time inbound and outbound logistics while maintaining delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze, optimize, and standardize logistics processes using continuous improvement, efficiency, quality, and KPI-driven performance management.
• Manage inventory control, cycle counts, and annual physical inventories through SAP MM and Inventory Management.
• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives, including across logistics and adjacent production processes.
• Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with Customer Service, Production, Quality, Procurement, and other functions while developing team members and apprentices.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in business administration, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally focused on warehouse logistics.
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in receiving, shipping, warehouse operations, and inventory management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM and Inventory Management, with hands-on experience in inbound logistics, shipping, transportation, and inventory processes.
• Proven experience analyzing, optimizing, and standardizing logistics processes with KPI-driven performance management.
• Experience leading logistics digitalization and automation initiatives, ideally involving scanning, barcode, and mobile data capture solutions.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements, customs and export regulations, and customer-specific shipping and documentation standards.
• Excellent German and good English communication skills.
• Structured, hands-on, and results-oriented leadership style.
