Senior Solutions Engineer (AI Security)

Location: Remote, based in Australia, with willingness to travel across Australia and the broader APJ region as needed

What you will do

• Own complex technical sales engagements for strategic and enterprise customers across APJ, from discovery through technical validation and close.
• Advise CISOs, CTOs, security leaders, and engineering teams on AI-native application security and translate technical findings into business value.
• Design and lead proofs of value with success criteria tied to vulnerability detection quality, false-positive reduction, remediation speed, and measurable outcomes.
• Work hands-on with source code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and customer development environments during technical evaluations.
• Partner with sales, Product, Engineering, and Research on account strategy, customer feedback, product direction, and regional requirements.
• Build repeatable demo environments, evaluation frameworks, technical playbooks, and best practices for the global Solutions Engineering function.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Security Engineer, or similar, ideally supporting enterprise or strategic accounts.
• Strong foundation in application security, vulnerability management, secure software development, or related cybersecurity disciplines.
• Deep understanding of software development workflows, source code management, CI/CD systems, and developer tooling.
• Experience leading complex enterprise technical evaluations, proofs of concept, or proofs of value, including defining success criteria and demonstrating measurable customer outcomes.
• Ability to communicate with technical practitioners and senior executives and translate complex security concepts into clear business value.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers across Australia and/or the broader APJ region, with an understanding of regional customer expectations and buying dynamics.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting technical challenges in customer environments.
• Experience collaborating with enterprise sales teams on technical account strategies and complex sales cycles.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment, build processes, manage competing priorities, and work through ambiguity.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
• Based in Australia and willing to travel across Australia and the broader APJ region as needed.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with SAST, SCA, DAST, or other vulnerability detection technologies.
• Familiarity with common application vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, Kubernetes, and modern development environments.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Go, Java, or another programming or scripting language.
• Experience supporting a new market or regional expansion within a high-growth technology company.
• Background in developer-focused, cloud security, or AI-powered security products.
