What you will do

• Own the security roadmap, assess material risks, prioritize controls, and report progress and unresolved exposure to leadership.
• Define security standards for AI agents, including identities, permissions, credentials, isolation, data access, logging, prompt-injection testing, and tool misuse prevention.
• Own workforce security across employee devices, identities, cloud environments, and critical SaaS applications, including onboarding, offboarding, exceptions, and IT support.
• Strengthen cloud, application, CI/CD, privileged-access, credential-storage, and software supply-chain security with Engineering.
• Lead detection, incident response, vulnerability management, containment, credential revocation, recovery testing, audits, customer reviews, and vendor assessments.
• Select tools and providers, automate recurring work, and help hire and develop the growing security and IT function.

Requirements

• Typically 6+ years of relevant experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, or corporate security, with evidence of independently owning meaningful security improvements.
• Recent hands-on experience implementing controls in cloud environments and investigating technical issues with production engineers.
• Depth across several areas including identity, cloud or application security, detection and response, endpoint security, or software supply-chain security.
• Experience building or improving a security program at a growing technology company while making tradeoffs with limited resources.
• Practical judgment about AI-enabled tools, including their appropriate use, access controls, and behavior and output validation.
• Clear communication with engineers, business leaders, customers, and providers, including explaining risks and following through on proportionate responses.

Nice to have

• Experience in enterprise SaaS, data infrastructure, fintech, or another business serving customers with rigorous security requirements.
• Experience securing AI agents, developer tooling, CI/CD, non-human identities, or third-party integrations.
• Experience with SOC 2, customer assurance, vendor security reviews, or external security and IT providers.
