Store Development Project Manager (Retail)

Location: New York, NY; travel as needed.

Base salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year, plus benefits, short-term incentive, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.

What you will do

• Oversee store development projects from design development through construction and opening.
• Develop floorplan layouts, fixture packages, material boards, and coming-soon signage packages.
• Manage vendors and support sourcing materials, furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
• Coordinate store improvement rollouts, including new configurations and upgrades to existing stores.
• Partner with Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, IT, Security, Real Estate, architects, designers, contractors, and landlords.
• Maintain drawing, design, and material packages; manage interior design elements, repairs, maintenance, purchase orders, invoices, budgets, costs, and expenses.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within retail design, interior design, and/or sketching.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or 3D modeling, as well as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to source and present decorative items for selection.
• Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective and professional communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work in New York, NY and travel as needed.
