FP&A Manager

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid workstyle aligned to an hirify.global office

Salary: $102,800–$176,000 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly outlook processes for assigned business units.
• Build financial models using revenue drivers such as market demand, headcount, productivity, and pricing.
• Analyze revenue, project margin, utilization, headcount, operating expenses, trends, risks, opportunities, and variances.
• Partner with business and operational leaders on hiring, pricing, investments, cost management, headcount planning, and offshore leverage.
• Maintain and enhance financial models and reporting tools, including Adaptive or similar planning systems.
• Lead reporting standardization and process improvements, and provide direction, feedback, coaching, and career support to data analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6–9+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of revenue drivers, utilization metrics, and margin management.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear executive-level insights.
• Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to senior leadership.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Accounting or Finance major.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or a labor-based business model.
• Experience with planning systems such as Adaptive Planning.
