FP&A Analyst II

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid, with in-person work at an assigned TU office for a minimum of two days per week. Applicants must be authorized to work full time in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $62,000–$90,000 annually.

What you will do

• Provide financial planning, analysis, and decision support to International Global Technology leaders and regional finance teams.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts, presentations, profitability and variance analyses, project reports, and periodic financial reporting.
• Partner with Global Technology, U.S. segment finance, Accounting, Technology, and regional finance teams on planning, investments, labor forecasts, and growth objectives.
• Investigate financial statement variances and communicate findings and insights to business owners and senior leaders, including SVP-level stakeholders.
• Support ad-hoc analyses, special projects, and process enhancements for planning, forecasting, allocations, and reporting.
• Develop BI dashboards and analysis that communicate financial insights to non-Finance stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in finance, business analytics, or business process consulting, including exposure to financial planning, forecasting, reporting, accounting, and monthly close processes.
• Experience performing financial, profitability, and variance analysis to investigate performance and provide insights to business stakeholders.
• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance and strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation experience and the ability to communicate financial performance and analysis to business leaders.
• Experience collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Technology, and other cross-functional stakeholders on financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, for financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience with General Ledger and financial forecasting tools such as PeopleSoft and/or OneStream.
• Authorization to work full time in the United States without employer immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Business Intelligence experience and interest in developing dashboards and meaningful financial analysis.
• Ability to translate financial analysis into clear insights for stakeholders without Finance backgrounds.
• Experience supporting process improvements across financial planning, forecasting, allocations, and reporting.
