Technical Program Manager, Global Infrastructure Planning (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; hybrid work model with 3 days in the office per week

Salary: $207K–$285K plus equity

What you will do

• Lead CPU demand planning across Research, Compute, and application infrastructure, maintaining forecasts for workload growth, regions, hardware requirements, timing, and alternatives.
• Translate workload growth and GPU fleet plans into integrated CPU, storage, network, bandwidth, connectivity, and placement requirements.
• Reconcile supply and demand, model constrained scenarios, and lead allocation decisions including quota transfers, rebalancing, and capacity reclaims.
• Coordinate regional bandwidth and connectivity plans, capacity orders, deployment milestones, and infrastructure dependencies across the fleet.
• Drive efficiency programs involving unused-capacity reclamation, rightsizing, modernization, workload placement, and resource sharing while measuring utilization and cost improvements.
• Provide leadership with clear demand, supply, allocation, forecast, and risk views, turning competing needs into accountable decisions and executable plans.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, capacity planning, capacity engineering, or infrastructure management, including ownership of complex programs at scale.
• Direct experience managing demand forecasting, supply planning, allocations, and capacity operations for CPU or cloud compute infrastructure.
• Technical depth in at least one infrastructure domain and the ability to reason across CPUs, GPUs, storage, and networks.
• Understanding of how workload architecture affects CPU and memory needs, storage capacity and throughput, network bandwidth and latency, and regional placement.
• Experience working across multiple cloud providers and understanding provider capabilities, quotas, regional constraints, and commercial commitments.
• Experience building or improving capacity planning tools, data models, or automation; comfortable using data to validate assumptions, model scenarios, and measure outcomes.
• Demonstrated infrastructure utilization or cost improvements through reclaims, rightsizing, modernization, workload placement, or similar efficiency programs.
• Ability to lead decisions across engineering, research, product, Finance, and external providers while balancing technical requirements, delivery risk, and cost.
• Resourcefulness in ambiguous environments, ownership of outcomes, and ability to build scalable processes; thoughtful interest in the impacts of AGI.
