Senior Quantum Developer - Quantum Circuits

What you will do

• Design quantum computer architectures for fault-tolerant execution of large circuits on neutral-atom hardware.
• Maintain resource estimates for target quantum-computing applications.
• Optimize fault-tolerant execution of quantum-algorithm subroutines across compilation, architecture, and hardware constraints.
• Help develop the software stack for efficient execution of encoded circuits and collaborate with academic partners.
• Prepare publications, contribute to intellectual property and patent filings, and present technical results at conferences and outreach events.
• Track technological developments and investigate future quantum applications with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• PhD in a technical field, primarily Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
• Relevant research-project experience during academic studies or industry internships.
• Good familiarity with quantum algorithms and quantum information, plus a related programming language such as Qadence, Qiskit, PennyLane, or Cirq.
• Strong software-development skills, preferably in Python; equivalent languages may be considered.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in English required.
• Proactive, autonomous attitude and ability to work effectively as a team member.

Nice to have

• Experience with fault-tolerant algorithms, including complete workflows.
• Knowledge of quantum error-correction protocols, digital simulation, compilation across hardware platforms, or resource estimation for deployed protocols.
• Familiarity with neutral-atom architectures.
• Knowledge of quantum machine learning, especially physics-informed frameworks and neural operators.
• Experience with machine-learning packages such as Torch or TensorFlow.
