Space Operation Support Engineer (M/F)

What you will do

• Maintain and develop space telemetry data post-processing and analysis tools.
• Investigate telemetry and in-orbit issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements on space hardware.
• Combine space data, ground experiments, theory, and simulations to improve propulsion algorithms and models.
• Support missions through satellite assembly and integration, launch, commissioning, operation, and de-orbiting.
• Support propulsion experiments in space and on the ground, and conduct performance analysis with operational recommendations.
• Write technical reports and documentation and collaborate with engineers and physicists on product development and industrialization.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in embedded software, aerospace engineering, propulsion, physics, or a similar field.
• Solid experience and understanding of complex embedded systems, ideally including fundamental engineering and space propulsion subjects.
• Knowledge of data processing, data analytics, and modelling using Python or similar tools.
• Knowledge or experience in electronics.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
• Demonstrable technical writing and reporting skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.
