Senior Director, Product Management (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Newark, NJ, with New York, NY listed as another location; United States

Salary: $200,000–$230,000 USD annually; bonus eligible

What you will do

• Define the end-to-end product vision, strategic objectives, multi-year roadmap, and prioritized backlog for Wealth Client Enablement & Technology Assembly.
• Translate client needs, implementation learnings, market opportunities, competitive intelligence, and enterprise priorities into product opportunities, business cases, value hypotheses, and investment recommendations.
• Develop scalable client onboarding journeys, implementation packages, accelerators, documentation, reusable platform capabilities, APIs, event streams, integration patterns, data products, and self-service experiences.
• Lead product discovery, validation, roadmap governance, release planning, adoption reviews, and value-realization tracking using measurable evidence.
• Partner with technology, architecture, engineering, data, integration, security, operations, sales, implementation, and client-facing leaders to align scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, readiness, and delivery expectations.
• Report on adoption, onboarding time, implementation effort, reuse, self-service utilization, client satisfaction, retention, revenue contribution, and delivered business value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Product Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in product management, business leadership, platform strategy, client enablement, digital transformation, or enterprise technology.
• 10+ years leading complex product portfolios, product organizations, transformation programs, client-facing platforms, or cross-functional delivery teams.
• Demonstrated success defining and delivering enterprise-scale platform products, reusable capabilities, client onboarding models, implementation accelerators, or digital client experiences.
• Proven ability to partner with senior engineering, architecture, sales, implementation, operations, and executive stakeholders in a complex matrixed organization.
• Executive product leadership connecting market opportunity, client needs, platform strategy, investment decisions, and measurable business outcomes.
• Strong commercial judgment covering product value, client demand, implementation cost, adoption potential, and investment trade-offs.
• Deep experience with product strategy, discovery, roadmap development, portfolio prioritization, client journey design, and value-realization management.
• Ability to engage credibly with technology leaders on APIs, integration patterns, cloud platforms, event-driven architectures, data capabilities, resiliency, and platform reuse without owning engineering execution.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, influence, decision-making, customer focus, operational discipline, transparency, and bias for action.
