Network Infrastructure Engineer II

Location: Remote, United States

Base salary for US-based candidates: $83,200–$149,800 per year. Compensation outside the US varies.

What you will do

• Deploy and repair servers, storage systems, routers, switches, cabling, firmware, and software both on-site and remotely.
• Monitor and maintain data centers, networks, and servers worldwide while coordinating with data center Network Operations Centers.
• Manage hardware decommissioning projects, including equipment disposal and data destruction.
• Ship and receive networking equipment to maintain network availability and reliability.
• Perform data center migration and hardware platform upgrade projects.
• Coordinate deployments from hardware requests through rack design.

Requirements

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in a NOC environment with hands-on hardware experience.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and networking equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a large-scale data center environment.
• Understanding of Linux system administration, server administration, and system internals.
• Professional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
