What you will do

• Assist with system design and architecture.
• Develop low-level driver and framework software in C and C++.
• Develop device-focused infrastructure software in Python.
• Debug issues at the hardware-software interface.
• Optimize software for performance and lower power consumption.
• Contribute to documentation, testing, code reviews, and the broader software engineering process.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in system software engineering and embedded platforms.
• Experience with at least one of C++ or C.
• Strong background in systems design and architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience with Android development, Linux, or Windows.
• Experience porting reference algorithms to hardware accelerators such as GPUs or DSPs.
• Experience developing firmware for microcontrollers, including bare-metal or RTOS environments.
• Experience with ARM or Qualcomm chip architectures.
• Ability to use lab equipment such as logic analyzers to debug low-level software issues.
• Desire or experience working in fast-paced environments.
