Production Engineer (Advanced Electronics)

What you will do

• Provide process, materials, and equipment engineering support to manufacturing operations to maintain production performance and restore process capability.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for process troubleshooting and support day-to-day operations within established asset capability.
• Lead operations teams in root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Design and implement capital and cost equipment upgrades, develop and execute test authorizations, and improve control strategies.
• Apply site and corporate engineering standards while supporting manufacturing technology and related disciplines.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Applicants from other STEM fields, including materials science or industrial engineering, may be considered with relevant experience and transferable skills.
• Relevant practical experience, problem-solving capability, and alignment with the core responsibilities are emphasized over strict adherence to a specific degree background.
• Working knowledge and experience in the relevant engineering discipline, with a basic understanding of related disciplines.
• Ability to complete specialized tasks under moderate supervision, analyze information, and use standard practices to resolve problems.
