Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own engineering projects improving plant safety, quality, equipment reliability, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Design, develop, implement, and improve manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production processes.
• Work with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Manufacturing to solve plant-floor problems and provide hands-on support for complex mechanical equipment.
• Analyze equipment and reliability data to identify downtime root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead capital equipment projects from concept through startup, including specifications, vendor coordination, procurement, installation, and implementation.
• Develop standards, procedures, and documentation while supporting OEE, Lean Manufacturing, and SQDCC improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
• 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, equipment reliability, maintenance, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading or supporting equipment upgrades, capital projects, and process improvements.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, or similar problem-solving tools.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools preferred.
• A hands-on approach to problem solving and interest in working closely with production and maintenance teams.
