Atlassian Delivery Director

Location: United States; remote work. Approximately 20% travel may be required for client engagements and business needs.

Salary: USD 150,000–180,000 per year.

What you will do

• Provide strategic direction, governance, and delivery oversight for complex enterprise Atlassian engagements within scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Build executive client relationships, lead business reviews and health assessments, and manage delivery risks, escalations, satisfaction, retention, and business outcomes.
• Own engagement financials, including budgets, profitability, margins, forecasting, resource utilization, Statements of Work, contractual commitments, and performance KPIs.
• Oversee Atlassian implementations, Cloud migrations, integrations, and enterprise platform optimization while partnering with Solution Architects and technical teams.
• Support pre-sales, solution planning, effort estimation, SOW development, delivery strategy, account expansion, and additional service offerings.
• Lead, coach, mentor, staff, and develop delivery managers, consultants, and technical resources across globally distributed teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in professional services, technology consulting, or enterprise delivery management.
• 5+ years of experience with Atlassian technologies, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Atlassian Cloud.
• 3–5+ years of people management experience, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, and leading technical or consulting teams.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise client engagements and complex technology implementations.
• Strong financial acumen covering engagement budgets, profitability, margins, resource utilization, and forecasting.
• Experience developing and managing Statements of Work, delivery plans, and client engagement strategies.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, DevOps, and enterprise technology processes.
• Ability to build executive-level client relationships, manage multiple concurrent engagements, and partner with Sales and Solution Architecture on pre-sales and account growth.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, globally distributed consulting environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with an Atlassian Solution Partner or enterprise technology consulting firm.
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud migrations, Assets, Atlassian Rovo, and enterprise-scale platform implementations.
• Familiarity with ITSM, Agile transformation, DevOps, and enterprise integrations.
• Atlassian, PMP, SAFe, or other relevant Agile/project management certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
