Senior Project Manager (Energy)

Location: Remote US; occasional travel of 10% or less may be needed.

What you will do

• Lead large and complex turnkey EPC electrification and generation projects from execution planning through formal acceptance and contract close-out.
• Establish project execution approaches, coordinate internal and external resources, and monitor schedules, scope, quality, risks, and performance.
• Control project financials, invoicing, costs, expenses, cash flow, resource utilization, budgets, and execution capacity.
• Lead project recovery efforts, project reviews, organizational project management assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage contracts, claims, procurement, project risks, opportunities, lessons learned, and required project documentation.
• Act as the customer contact and escalation point while developing stakeholders and coaching project execution staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
• At least 10 years of related experience managing turnkey EPC electrification or generation projects.
• Experience leading EPC projects involving transmission, substations, solar or wind generation, and battery storage systems.
• Proven ability to develop business, establish client relationships, identify opportunities, and lead proposal or pursuit efforts.
• Ability to manage large volumes of work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to apply extensive engineering and project management principles.
• Strong experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software.
