Manager, Orchestration & Integration Product Management (API Integration)

Location: Hybrid role based in Foster City, California, or Austin, Texas, with at least 3 days in the office required; travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $131,600–$233,700 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments if applicable.

What you will do

• Lead lifecycle orchestration across systems and partners within the VIA C&S platform.
• Define API contracts and integration models while ensuring data and lifecycle consistency.
• Drive event-based architectures and connect backend, partner, and experience layers.
• Resolve integration and lifecycle flow issues.
• Enable partner onboarding, including integrations such as RS2.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years with an advanced degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
• Strong API and distributed systems experience.
• Experience with event-driven systems and partner integrations.
• Strong systems thinking and technical depth, including the ability to work with data and SQL and collaborate with senior engineering leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical global audiences.
• Ability to translate customer needs into solutions with measurable business outcomes.
• Autonomous, proactive execution in ambiguous environments and a collaborative approach across diverse teams.

Nice to have

• 6 or more years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 4 or more years with an advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD.
• 10 or more years of experience in platform or integration roles.
• Hands-on experience using AI/ML, generative AI, copilots, or agentic automation for product discovery, requirements development, operational analysis, data investigation, and daily execution workflows.
