Principal Learning Experience Designer (SaaS)

What you will do

• Architect and deliver rapid, release-synchronous eLearning for technical SaaS products, primarily using Rise.
• Convert instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, SME-led, and technical content into scalable self-directed learning.
• Design new, release-maintenance, delta-training, and microlearning modules of up to 15 minutes.
• Create demo and how-to videos with AI audio covering workflows, use cases, and best practices.
• Own reusable learning templates, patterns, standards, accessibility, and inclusive design practices across the education portfolio.
• Partner with SMEs, trainers, and education leaders; use learner feedback to address stumbling points, improve adoption, and mentor other designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a similar field.
• 7+ years of experience in instructional design or rapid eLearning experience design, ideally in SaaS, enterprise software, release-driven environments, or technical platforms.
• Experience with ADDIE, Backward, and Agile design.
• Proven success delivering rapid eLearning in high-volume, release-driven environments and converting instructor-led and technical content into effective self-directed learning.
• Strong design judgment, project management skills, collaboration, and communication across cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with SMEs, managing multiple parallel projects, and meeting release timelines.
• Hands-on video production experience with Camtasia, Snagit, or similar tools.
• Strong proficiency with Articulate Rise and working knowledge of Articulate Storyline.
• Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Experience using AI to improve development velocity, quality, and scalability.
